Business is mainly about innovation – and AI can help Businessman

When I released my first product at college, my goal was to make money – it was something for that. I saw the punch and decided to find out if I could create a solution.

It turned out that I could. Note that everything I built has developed the way I wanted it, but that’s okay. Tinker’s thinking does not require 100 penetrating successes. You may think my love for experimying would be tested as soon as my company grows. But in fact, in my beliefs, I became more firm that big things came from those who play.

Why experimentation is necessary

If there is one feature every founder needs, this is willing to experiment. Great products were not born fully FormD – they are formed by experiment, error, feedback and iteration.

When I started Jotform, I didn’t try to build a company. I tried to solve the problem. This curiosity led to our first slogan “Easst Form Builder”. I obsessed with the usability and I still tuned the product unit that felt effortlessly used. This thinking – assembly, test, improvement – has a guide every version of the sale.

I often say to the founders I am a mentor: You don’t have to be perfect, just get it in front of people. The feedback you get will tell you what to fix, what to double and what to get rid of.

My rule 50/50 – digestion half of the time for the product and half the growth – is based on the same principle. You are constantly experimenting on two fronts: what you build and how to get into the hands of users. It is a push-pull dynamics that inherently requires experiment and mistake.

Today, experimenting is easier and more accessible than ever thanks to AI. In the past, it was extremely difficult to cut time and space to be creative, because who has several continuous hours just to play with a project that eventually nothing can do anything? For me it was early in the morning and late night The Golden Times to work on my startup, when I didn’t have to concentrate on my daily work or any other obligations that would be annoying for my attention.

For many people, these rare off-horses are still a ticket to unlock creative thinking. Amplitude of creativity

There is a misconception that AI will do all the work for you. It won’t. AI, at least not yet, cannot replicate human creativity and ingenuity. What he does is to eliminate the narrow places that prevent you from doing the best job.

I recently returned from an eight -month break from my business. I had my third child and wanted to take the opportunity to spend time with my family. As soon as I returned to the office, I realized I didn’t want to go back to how I worked before, getting in several ways at once and being too stretched to focus on what I care about.

Instead, I decided to dramatically reduce the areas of my business that I would focus on. Recently, this meant cooperation with our architect to design a new office space. It is something I enjoy, but thanks to the pileup of other distractions I could not fully commit to the previous color.

In the past, I might have to let it go – just because I wanted to be involved, it didn’t mean I would have the bandwidth to do it. It was a project that interests me, the goal did not require my participation. This is a matter of playing – most of it is strictly necessary.

One of the reasons is that I have a powerful team that was able to take over many everyday functions that previously absorbed me. The second is because I am represented by AI to take some of my most annoying, time -consuming busy.
